Source, states, "Our focus for the future is to continue to
maximize the growth of our music, the focus of our ministry and
protect the health of our family life. The reorganization of our

Greenes' Bus
Involved In Accident

The Greenes Prevost XLII
|
|
BOONE, NC (Press Release) - At approximately 6 a.m. CST on Friday,
Jan. 4, the Greenes had just crossed into Alabama on
Interstate 20 when the right front tire of the bus blew out.
Everyone on the bus, except driver John Jeffrey, was asleep
at the time of the accident. The bus went off the right side of the
road and down an embankment, headed for some trees. At the last
second, the bus turned slightly in the direction that John was
trying to turn it, and became buried against another embankment. The
bus door was pinned shut and no one could exit the bus. Only after
the wrecker pulled the bus away from the embankment could anyone get
off the bus to survey the damage. After about four hours the bus was
back on the road, where it was towed to a shop and the two front
tires were replaced. The bus was still driving condition, but
extensive work will need to be done to the bumper, door, and right
front bay door. No one was injured in the accident.

Announcement For Nick Trammell and Jessica Brown

Nick Trammell & Jessica Brown
|
|
NASHVILLE, TN (Singing News) - Snow blanketed the rolling cornfields
of Merrill, Iowa Saturday evening Dec. 15 as Nick Trammell
and Jessica Brown were presented with a surprise horse drawn
sleigh ride just after enjoying the evening meal with both of their
families in attendance. The jingle bell garnered sleigh delivered
the couple to a special location in the fields of the Brown
Family farm. As they arrived at the candle lit walkway leading
to a bon fire, Jessica conveyed to Nick that she was excited that
his parents had come to visit and that it had snowed.
Nick (keeping the whole thing a surprise with the aid of his mother
in law to be) began to make small talk and eventually turned to
Jessica, got on his knees with ring in hand and said "Jessica,
would you spend the rest of your life with me?" Jessica
screamed "YES" so loud that her baby brother Andrew heard
it almost a mile away as the families were preparing to join the
couple for a wonderful time of celebration. Both the Browns and
Trammells are thrilled with the news. Nick and Jessica are planning
a Dec. 2008 wedding in Iowa.

Triumphant Quartet at Carnegie Hall

American Gospel Music is a new emerging genre within the
fabric of American musical culture. American Gospel Music brings
together the very best of traditional southern gospel, black
gospel, and contemporary gospel. The selections and groups
chosen for the performance at Carnegie Hall, New York City, New
York on Friday evening November 23, 2007 are reflective of the
total scope of American Gospel Music. Babbie Mason gave voice to
sounds within the Black-gospel heritage. The contemporary voice
was heard from The Imperials.
Traditional Southern Gospel was voiced by the TRIUMPHANT
QUARTET representing the traditional sounds in such selections as
When Morning Sweeps the Eastern Sky, Rock Bottom, Delivered Again,
The Great I Am Still Is, and Terrible Time/Wonderful Time.
The Quartet is comprised of five gentlemen who are very
experienced in singing gospel harmony. Eric Bennett, Jeff Stice,
David Sutton, Clayton Inman, & Scott Inman
Jeff Stice brought the audience to their feet, playing his own
arrangement of the traditional song Joshua Fit the Battle along
with The American Festival Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the
dynamic world renowned maestro Eric Dale Knapp. Mr. Knapp
will lead the Olympic Festival Orchestra and Chorus in a concert
July 2008 in Beijing Olympics
Jeff Stice accompanied Babbie Mason and the 200 voice choir on
many of the selections.
Triumphant joined with Babbie Mason & the Imperials on the
opening number Come on Into the House and the Finale Jerusalem.
Triumphant Quartet was much honored to be a part of this
magnificent concert at Carnegie Hall. We wish to thank Christian
Music Presenters Nashville, TN for all the labor that went into
this past week, and in making the concert at Carnegie Hall a great
success.
Comments from those in attendance:
The fusion of Southern Gospel music with Black-Gospel was
masterfully orchestrated by Christian Music Presenters at the
Carnegie Hall premier concert of American Gospel Music. The
audience was electrified by the artistry of Babbie Mason,
Triumphant Quartet, and The Imperials while being inspired by the
American Festival Symphony and the 200 voice Chorale. Carnegies
performance gives evidence that the vision of American Gospel
Music will take root within the fabric of the American culture.

Music Television

If you believe, as I do, that every stage has a memory of the
music performed there. Then Carnegie Hall is a better and holier
place because of the American Gospel Music Concert.
Congratulations on an exquisite evening of Gospel Music. I am very
happy to have been able to attend.
